The E P Armory Carbine Buffer is a standard 4.3oz oz weight 3.25" AR-15 carbine buffer for use with MIL-SPEC and Commercial spec receiver extension tubes.
This buffer works with all calibers but recommended for standard .223, 5.56, 300AAC builds. Larger calibers as well as pistol builds should use heavier buffers such as H2 or H3. Pistol calibers or Direct Blow Back builds should use 5oz buffers minimum for accuracy, control and longevity of the frame components.
EP80 builds in all calibers and build are recommended to have at least a H2 buffer and pistols must use a H3 to comply with the Lifetime Warranty program.
