In the beginning years of WWII, Britain was facing invasion from Germany RSAF at Enfield was commissioned to design a cheap alternative to the Thompson that was quick to produce. The Sten concept was to have individual components, produced at small workshops and then assembled at Enfield. The gun went through various changes or “marks” throughout the war.
Properly cut British Sten MKIII parts set with T-Stock, bolt assembly w/cocking handle, trigger housing w/internals, cover & screws, magazine housing w/catch assembly, ejector and front & rear sight, recoil spring and rear caps. Also includes about 1-3/4” of the front muzzle receiver tube with front sight. This kit does not come with barrel. MKIII uses a simplified production using a unified receiver and barrel shroud assembly. Cut receiver, no barrel. Barrel trunion & stock mount are intact.
