Texas Small Batch Precision Ammunition was forged from our owner’s passion for hunting and shooting. We have over 20 years’ experience, and take an “Every Shot Counts” approach to our production process. This means we strive to provide our customers with consistently accurate, reliable, and lethal ammunition. Our manufacturing facility is located in Early, near the geographical center of Texas.
Texas Small Batch utilizes a “recycle Texas” approach. We use a multi step process to thoroughly clean our brass. Next, we use precision dies to return our brass to SAAMI specs. We pride ourselves on bringing our brass specks into better-than-new condition before the loading process. We use completely encapsulated copper plated hollow points in our extreme Defense line of handgun ammunition. Unlike most copper jacketed projectiles that have a exposed lead base, our encapsulated projectiles reduce lead exposure.
At Texas Small Batch, we run powder checks on each loading press to ensure that every round has a proper powder charge. Each of our rounds goes into a chamber check gauge by hand, to ensure it will chamber in your firearm safely. We use a labradar chronograph to measure velocity, extreme spread, and standard deviation during load development. This process is used to ensure consistency and accuracy.
