- Polishing the bolt lugs (ears) to a nice shiny finish
- Polishing the trigger reset
- Polishing the action rail guides
- Thoroughly clean the weapon to ensure smooth action of the weapon with no hang up in charging the weapon. Kriss Vector from factory can be catchy to rack a round in.
- Remove the top rail of the Kriss Vector by removing the front roll pin and allen screw (gen 1)
- Remove any optics or iron sights
- Remove the top rail by sliding it off of the guide sliding it from stock to muzzle
- Remove the center allen screw from the center of the fire control mounting screws
- Install the screw provided in the kit and adjust the amount of travel for your reset. You can leave 1/16" or more but the trigger still needs to be able to be pulled and reset. Depending on the Generation, Caliber and Use (wear on the weapon/round count) of the weapon it can vary slightly.
- Install the roller onto the trigger reset spring and center it on the spring end. Be sure to not bend the spring permanently or bend it to one side or the other during installation.
- Actuate the hammer and trigger to check function by pulling trigger and manually resetting the hammer.
- If the hammer or trigger is locked up you have too much screw tension and should relieve or back it out some. Depending on the model if the screw has to be backed out so much it protrudes too far to where the top rail will not go on you will need to shave the bottom of the screw to be able to reinstall and recess it below the top of the receiver.
- Reassemble weapon
Assemble the weapon and check the action by manually pulling the trigger and actuating the charging handle to feel for trigger reset pressure. If you feel reset and the action is good move onto the next part. If you feel tension still you may need to go back to the polishing part and restart.
- Start with one round in the magazine and test fire to check locking back of the bolt. If it does not you have a drag issue still and go back to polish.
- 2nd test fire- 2 round in the magazine and see if she BRRT BRRT for you. If not go back to polishing and start over.
- 3rd test fire- 3 rounds in the magazine and see if she BRRT BRRT for you. If not go back to polish, check your lubrication and retest.
- 4th test fire- Load the magazine and crush all those watching the Kriss Vector run like it should for all Americans.

Does this work with the Gen 1 Kriss vector?
EP
Yes, but a Gen2 trigger pack is recommended for consistency.

An installation video might be helpful for the newbies.

Hey, got the roller installed and at first the trigger felt super tight so i removed it and filed the roller like the picture says, put it back in, got a few semi rounds down range before the weapon started shedding pieces of the roller. not real sure why, put the spare roller in and have yet to test it out. i would also like some clarification about where on the bolt needs to be polished, super excited to get this thing runnin right! thanks

Hello Spencer, the bolt ears/lugs need to be polished where the bolt makes contact with the rail guides. I will get a video with photos together to help out.

Also having a few issues, roller installed trigger works and resets disassembled but put all together will not fire if I remove the bottoms assembly pin it will fire but only semi auto, 2 rounds and absolutely shredded the roller, I and currently on the back up roller but would like more clarity.

Hello Tim, have you checked the photos attached to the blog? The Vector needs to have the disconnect hole polished where it pins up to the trigger bar. You may be hanging up in that area. We will get more photos together to show. Hope this helps

I guess I'm not understanding what this product is meant to do because my vector shoots exactly the same even after install.

Is there a description of exactly how this roller works? Does it actually roll? I’m having the same problem Where the trigger works before assembly but not after. My gun has had thousands of rounds through it so I thought it should be pretty smooth

I watched some animated videos and put some chalk on the roller to see what pushed up on it to reset the trigger. The mainspring guide rod screw it what hits it as it comes back up into battery. It’s H6 on the parts list. I filed down one side of the roller where it rests on the trigger bar and now it will cycle correctly. I’m gonna test it tomorrow

I have a gen 3 Kriss vector and both times the little roller exploded in my gun and fell apart with in 300 rounds or less. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I set the roller the same way it showed in the picture and they both died. I need help

So I have a trigger reset kit for my GEN two vector I have I have two rollers in the kit and three screws. I know one of the screws is for a GEN two GEN one GEN three but do I use both rulers on my GEN two I watched a video little short video that you have I only seen one roller on that one. I was just curious if there was a reason why there’s two rollers or if it’s just one’s a spare or what not wish you guys could attach a video of installing on your website and not through YouTube, but if you can, please let me know exactly if it’s one roller that I need or if it’s both of them.

Put together and the vector generation 2 9 mm . Will not fire. Any videos you could send me to help out would be helpful. I broke one of the rollers during an insulation the black one the gray one is still working, but the gun will not fire. Can you give me directions on what the polish and what I’m possibly doing wrong.
