The Trigger Kicker is the simplest active reset mechanism on the market. Designed to replace the disconnector in an otherwise standard AR-15 fire control group, the Trigger Kicker is contacted by the hammer to reset the trigger, and then tucks under the standard safety selector to lock the trigger safely in the reset position until the bolt carrier can move back into battery.
The Trigger Kicker is designed to function in AR-15 rifles with standard “mil-spec” bolt carriers and fire control groups. The Trigger kicker uses a standard safety and hence is “safe” and “active” only. The Trigger Kicker may be compatible with some AR-9’s and other platforms, but this remains experimental.
